do88 Performance turbo inlets designed for easy installation in your BMW M2/M3/M4 F8X!
The S55 twin-turbo engine that powers the BMW M2C/M3/M4 F8X features rather restrictive turbocharger inlet pipes. Reducing restrictions on the turbo inlet side is of great importance.
The performance turbo inlets offer a solution that minimizes airflow restrictions just before the turbochargers!
The final design is a package with front and rear turbo inlets. The rear turbo inlet is a custom-designed aluminum pipe with a welded and CNC-machined turbo connection radius flange. The front turbo inlet is a 3D-designed freeform steel-wire-reinforced silicone hose that connects to the turbocharger using a CNC-machined radius adapter. Matte black hose clamps are included.
Significant advantages of DO88 turbo inlet pipes (comparison numbers to stock):
– Larger diameter: 63mm (2.55″), resulting in 33% more flow area!
– Airflow at 75mbar/1.09psi pressure drop, 778CFM (690CFM), DO88 13% more flow!
– CNC-machined turbo flanges with flow-optimized radius!
– Steel wire-reinforced silicone hose for improved durability.
