The best high-performance intercooler kit for AUDI, SEAT, SKODA, VW 1.8/2.0 TSI (MQB) on the market!
This BigPack includes both the do88 high-performance intercooler and the hose kit.
This kit is for those with high-power goals and want to upgrade to the absolute best! Simply upgrading to our high-performance intercooler is a major improvement, and combined with our boost hose kit, the improvement is enormous! Our boost hoses have significantly better airflow than stock hoses, as proven by multiple tests both on-board and on our SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench.
Benefits of the do88 BigPack (OEM intercooler/hoses):
– Core volume: 15,347 cm3 (7,719 cm3), do88 is 99% larger!
– Airflow at 0.15 bar/2.18 psi pressure drop: 325 CFM (239 CFM), DO88 36% higher!
– Post-intercooler air temperature at the same conditions: 24Β°C (36Β°C), DO88 12Β°C lower!
The BigPack includes a complete aluminum high-performance intercooler and a complete 2.5″ hose and silicone tubing kit. This BigPack replaces everything between the turbo outlet and the throttle body, resulting in a dramatic improvement in airflow and cooling performance.
The DO88 high-performance intercooler is an all-aluminum construction. With optimized, CAD-designed cast end tanks and an optimized core design, it achieves the best possible cooling efficiency combined with the lowest possible pressure drop!
The pressure tubes are made from 2.5″ mandrel-bent seamless aluminum tubing.
High-quality, custom-made silicone hoses with 4 layers of polyester/aramid reinforcement. These hoses can handle very high temperatures and pressures!
Always remember that the OEM intercooler was designed for the power level for which the car was originally built. An increase in power or even very heavy use of the car in the standard version can cause the OEM intercooler to not have the performance you need. Therefore, only after an engine software tune will the do88 BigPack provide a performance increase over the OEM intercooler!
A common misconception is that an intercooler installed in this position cannot provide good performance and that a front-mounted intercooler/FMIC would be much better. However, the do88 BigPack is actually much better than most FMIC installations, where only a core with a small frontal surface area can be installed partially behind the bumper beam, which will further reduce cooling capacity and often results in worse cooling performance than the OEM intercooler.
The do88 BigPack comes with all the hardware needed for installation.
