The best high-performance intercooler for Audi, Seat, Skoda, VW 2.0TFSI EA113 / 2.0 TSI EA888 on the market
This high-performance intercooler was developed by do88 to replace the original/OEM intercooler and delivers real performance without the need to rebuild the entire vehicle!
Significant advantages of the do88 high-performance intercooler (OEM intercooler):
– Core volume: 13342 cm3 (7676 cm3), do88 is 74% larger!
– Air flow at 0.15 bar/2.18 psi pressure drop: 448 CFM (335 CFM), do88 34% more!
– Post-intercooler air temperature under the same conditions: 29Β°C (84Β°F), do88 8Β°C lower!
– Suitable for all cars in the list below! (See installation instructions)!
The do88 performance intercooler is an all-aluminum construction with CAD-designed, flow-optimized cast end tanks and a refined core design to achieve the best possible cooling efficiency combined with the lowest possible pressure drop!
Always remember that the OEM intercooler is designed for the power level for which the car was built, and an increase in power or even very heavy use of the car in a standard version can cause the OEM intercooler to not have the performance you need. Therefore, only after fine-tuning the engine software will the do88 performance intercooler provide a performance increase over the OEM intercooler!
The OEM intercooler has plastic tanks that don’t keep up very well with higher boost levels, so the do88 performance intercooler will also add reliability!
A common misconception is that an intercooler installed in this location cannot provide good performance and that a front-mounted intercooler/FMIC would be much better. However, the do88 high-performance intercooler is far superior to most FMIC installations, where only a small front-facing core can be installed, often partially behind the bumper beam, which further reduces cooling capacity and often results in cooling under the OEM intercooler.
The do88 high-performance intercooler comes with all the necessary installation hardware.
