dO88 High-Performance Intercooler J-Pipe, designed for easy installation in your BMW M2/M3/M4 F8X
The S55 twin-turbo engine that powers the BMW M2C/M3/M4 F8X is equipped with plastic intercooler pipes. These pipes are a standard connection on any tuned car, or in some cases even on a stock setup. OE plastic pipes often crack/break at the turbo connections, leaving you with a loss of boost.
The high-performance intercooler J-pipe provides a solution to the reliability problem that minimizes restrictions while improving airflow!
The final design is a super-strong 3.5″ (89 mm) J-pipe that improves airflow. It has a free-form design with the same diameter all the way to the throttle body, which is impossible with mandrel-bent tubing. The J-pipe has two methanol injection connections (1/8-27 NPT) that are sealed with plugs upon delivery. A more durable silicone hose is also included along with matte black hose clamps. A new C-clip is included to secure the J-pipe to the throttle body instead of the flimsy OE plastic retaining clip.
