This system is crafted using race-proven lightweight materialstitanium for the muffler and connecting pipe section, and carbon fiber for two sets of new handcrafted exhaust tipsfor a result that is over 41% lighter than the stock system.
The Evolution Line (Titanium) is manufactured with a valve, which has a housing cast in the Akrapovi? foundry, mounted on the outside of the muffler. This design feature with perfect gas flow allows the sound to be customized to deliver an Akrapovi? acoustic effect. This creates a smooth, rich sound during normal cruising, with a deep, sporty tone when driving the Audi S3 more dynamically. Power is increased by 4 kW (5.4 hp) at 4,350 rpm, with a torque gain of 8.8 Nm at 3,900 rpm. These figures were measured on the Akrapovi? dynamometer when tested against an Audi S3 with a standard stock exhaust.
No remapping is required, making it a plug-and-play system; An optional Akrapovi? audio kit is also available to give the driver greater control over the system’s superb tones.
The exhaust system is ECE-approved for cars equipped with a petrol/oil particulate filter.
