200001074 – EVO 2 Intercooler Upgrade Kit for 2015+ Ford Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost (including Facelift)
The high-performance intercooler has the following main dimensions (535 mm x 392 mm x 95 mm = 19.9 L). This results in a 175% larger inflow area and a 226% larger charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The new, high-performance mesh ensures that adjacent components, such as the water cooler, still have sufficient airflow. Despite its size, the total weight of the intercooler is only 14.2 kg. The die-cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations.
An air duct integrated into the end box allows for the homogeneous filling of the high-performance intercooler. The intercooler inlets and outlets have been enlarged to 70 mm in diameter. This kit also includes a matching carbon air duct to ensure optimal flow to the intercooler. The high-performance intercooler has a pressure resistance of up to 6 bar (tested). Therefore, this kit is also suitable for racing. Furthermore, all our intercoolers are coated with an anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity.
