The 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine (M 276 DE 30 AL) of the Mercedes 43 AMG models is equipped with an indirect intercooler circuit. Charge air cooling is implemented by a water-cooled intercooler, which is replaced by the Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler.
The WAGNER TUNING high-performance intercooler features a new performance mesh measuring 222 mm x 297 mm x 95 mm. This was developed specifically for the high demands of the 43 AMG engine and offers 133% more external mesh volume than the original intercooler. The ratio of internal to external cooling surface area used maximizes heat transfer while simultaneously allowing for the best possible internal airflow. The die-cast aluminum end boxes were designed using CAD and optimized using CFD simulations. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible back pressure. This kit is therefore also suitable for racing. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
All WAGNER TUNING intercoolers feature a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating to ensure a permanent cooling effect. Installation of the system is also simple and plug & play. play with the help of the installation instructions.
