The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (550 mm x 445 mm x 70 mm = 17,130 cm³) and therefore offers a 134% larger flow surface and a 105% larger charge air volume than the original intercooler. The Competition high-performance mesh is a high-quality tubular fin mesh with internal turbulators. Despite its dimensions, the total weight of the intercooler is only 9.5 kg. The intercooler terminal boxes are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using CFD flow analysis.
The connection diameters are Ø62 mm at the intercooler inlet and Ø67 mm at the intercooler outlet.
The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible backpressure. Furthermore, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This ensures permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The kit is completely ready for installation; simply replace it with a standard intercooler – plug and play. Tested up to 6 bar and pressure stable. All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring. Suitable for racing.
