The do88 intercooler in this BigPack features a gigantic 97mm thick core intercooler manufactured by Garrett, rated up to 1,000 hp. It is designed for maximum airflow and low intake temperatures. This intercooler is perfect for track and high-performance vehicles. The intercooler core uses advanced aerospace technology for efficient heat transfer, and our custom-designed end tanks distribute airflow evenly over the core. Our machined 80mm hose connections far outperform OE 70mm hose connections, eliminating airflow bottlenecks. Regardless of your vehicle’s current setup, this intercooler kit promises a substantial performance improvement.
The included do88 charge hose kit is designed to complement and enhance the performance of the do88 Performance intercooler. OEM charge hoses feature numerous inefficient bends and are not performance-optimized. Our charge hoses are significantly larger and fully flow-optimized, resulting in 31% more flow than the OEM!
On the hot side (Turbo->Intercooler), our kit features a large 70mm (2 ΒΎ”) aluminum tube that doesn’t have the restrictive flat design found between the engine and the internal steering system like the OEM tube. On the cold side (Intercooler->Throttle Body), our cast aluminum charge tube runs from the throttle body to the intercooler outlet. This tube has a massive 86mm hose connection to the intercooler compared to the OEM’s 64mm. The do88 Performance Intercooler’s large 80mm hose connection also features two CNC-machined 1/8″ NPT connections, perfect for methanol injection or outlets such as boost pressure sensors.
All included hoses are 4-layer reinforced, making them resistant to high boost pressures and temperatures. The hoses have an internal step at the hose connections for a smooth transition from hose to hose. which effectively reduces airflow turbulence. The hoses are delivered with sturdy hose clamps for a secure, leak-free assembly.
