BigPack configurations for the BMW M2C/M3/M4 F8X.
These are complete charge air cooling system packages with integrated mounting!
The S55 turbo engine powering the BMW M2C/M3/M4 F8X uses a top-mounted water-cooled intercooler instead of a “normal” air-cooled intercooler. The stock top-mounted intercooler has a Tube & Fin core with clamped plastic end tanks. This construction has its drawbacks as it is prone to cracking and starts to leak coolant into the engine or lose boost pressure from the tank seals.

The coolant in this system has its own separate cooling circuit combined with two parallel-connected radiators and a pump. The larger of these two parallel-connected radiators is located at the front of the central cooling unit, while the second, smaller one is located in front of the right wheel arch.

These cars feature plastic intercooler hoses on both the hot and cold sides. These hoses are a common connection on any tuned car, or in some cases even on a stock setup. OE plastic hoses often break, leaving you with a loss of boost.

Upgrades for all these parts have therefore been designed using advanced 3D scanning and 3D modeling in the scanned environment.

You can choose from three different options for this product.

A high-performance intercooler helps your engine produce more power by both lowering intake air temperature and pressure! It’s a bar-and-plate unit with 3D-designed freeform end tanks TIG-welded to the core. It has an 85% larger core volume than the stock intercooler and outperforms the stock unit in both airflow and cooling efficiency. Flow is 16% better and IAT is 9Β°C lower, so with better flow and a lower IAT, this is a real upgrade!

Charge air coolers lower the water temperature in the charge air cooler. This equates to a lower intake air temperature, providing both more power and more sustained performance.

The intercooler lines, both the ones from the turbochargers to the intercooler and the ones from the intercooler to the throttle body, are designed to add durability while improving airflow.
