WOSSNER – PORSCHE 996 TT & GT2 3.6 PISTONS SET

WOSSNER is considered by leading European motorsport engine builders to be the piston of choice when building an engine not only for performance but also to withstand the stresses and strains of racing life. WOSSNER pistons feature a unique PTFE skirt coating and a 4032 (T6) alloy grade that allows the engine builder to run a piston closer to the tolerance they might have on another brand piston.
This helps eliminate the squeaking noise during cold starts, common among engines running forged pistons due to larger-than-OE bore clearances. The piston crowns are also polished to better resist detonation on a high-performance engine. The polishing allows for more even heat distribution within the chamber, helping prevent “hot spots” on the piston crowns.
