200001179 – COMPETITION INTERCOOLER KIT for Yaris GR 1.6-L Turbo
The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler features a new type of competition mesh (finned tube) with the dimensions:
630 mm x 137 mm x 135 mm + 630 mm x 43 mm x 100 mm (stepped mesh: 14, 36 liters), developed specifically for the Toyota GR Yaris. This high-performance mesh offers a 24% larger flow area and a 69% larger mesh volume than the original intercooler.
The die-cast aluminum end boxes were designed using CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow). The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible backpressure. Furthermore, the newly developed high-performance racing mesh ensures that adjacent components, such as the water cooler, still have sufficient airflow through the use of a specially designed air deflector. This makes this kit perfect for racing. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from all environmental influences, ensuring a permanent and optimal cooling effect. Installation takes place at the original mounting points and is easy (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
The inlet and outlet diameters have been increased to Ø60 mm. This kit therefore contains reinforced silicone hoses and an aluminum fuel and charge hose.
