The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (715 mm x 162 mm x 122 mm / stepped = 12,700 cm³) and therefore offers a 42% larger flow area and a 144% greater charge air volume than the original intercooler. The high-performance Competition mesh is a high-quality tubular fin mesh with internal turbulators. Despite its dimensions, the total weight of the intercooler is only 7.5 kg. The intercooler’s terminal boxes are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using CFD flow analysis. The intercooler kit was developed specifically for high-performance tuning and is therefore available with an optional Ø60mm pipe. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible backpressure. Furthermore, all our intercoolers feature a corrosion-resistant coating with thermal conductivity. This ensures permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The kit is completely ready to install; simply replace it with a standard intercooler – plug and play. Tested up to 6 bar and pressure-stable. All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring. Suitable for racing.
