The competition high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions: 530 mm x 205 mm x 95 mm = 10,300 cm³. It offers a 20% larger flow area and 86% greater charge air volume than the original intercooler. A new type of competition high-performance mesh (tubular fin) is used, developed specifically for the Subaru WRX STi. The die-cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. The intercooler inlets and outlets have not been modified. The intercooler’s back pressure is identical to that of the standard intercooler. An anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity protects the intercooler from environmental influences, ensuring continuous, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is simple (plug and play) and replaces the OEM intercooler.
