The WAGNER TUNING high-performance intercooler features a new racing mesh (tubular fin) measuring 550 mm x 168 [139] mm x 120 [100] mm [stepped]. This corresponds to an external mesh volume of 10.7 liters. The Wagner Tuning Competition intercooler for the BMW E46 offers a 31% larger frontal flow surface and 205% more external net volume than the original intercooler.
The die-cast aluminum end boxes were designed using CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow). The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible back pressure. This makes this kit perfect for racing. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity protects the WAGNER TUNING intercooler from all environmental influences, ensuring a permanent and optimal cooling effect. Installation takes place at the original mounting points and is easy (plug and play).
