Revised Gen. 2 Competition intercooler kit for VAG models with 1st and 2nd generation 2.0TFSI and TSI engines.
The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions (610 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm / 17.45 L) and therefore offers a 10% larger flow surface and a 50% larger charge air volume than the original Audi S3 intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance net ensures that adjacent components, such as the water cooler, still have sufficient airflow and is also very light (S3 OEM 8 kg / WAGNERTUNING 9.2 kg). CAD-developed freeform end boxes with an integrated cast aluminum air baffle for the best possible internal air distribution.
The CNC-machined hose connections have been enlarged to Ø67mm, so this kit comes with matching silicone hoses.
Overall, this intercooler has much lower back pressure than the stock radiator.
Additionally, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This ensures optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.
The assembly is performed by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform.
