The heart of the Stage 3 kit is our significantly redesigned IS38 turbo, featuring our own turbines and a high-performance bearing pack inside.
Retaining the IHI turbo housing, installation is simple and cost-effective, reusing the factory oil and coolant lines, plus gaskets, without having to worry about aftermarket connections or adapters.
Developed and supplied as a complete, all-in-one installation kit that combines our hardware with our matching OEM+ software for a true “Plug and Play” solution.
The result? Expect 480 HP, incredible drivability, and 0-60 mph/100 km/h in around 3 seconds on a 4WD DSG car. True supercar performance.
For IS20 cars (smaller turbos) like the Golf 7 GTI, expect 450 HP.
POWER BOOST
The power increases are sensational. This package is more than capable of delivering over 500 HP, although we’ve tuned it to a safer 480 HP, leaving plenty of room for a good amount of extra.
DRIVEABILITY
Driveability and reliability are right up there with outright performance. Using the stock IHI housing, a low-lag turbo spool and great efficiency ensure power, smoothness… and even surprising economy.

RELIABLE INSTALLATION
One of the key reassurances of our OEM+ Stage 3 is that all the factory turbocharger mountings, oil lines, and even gaskets are retained. No aftermarket fasteners, no adapters, no worries.

In addition to the Stage 3 kit itself, our full range of other supporting hardware has also been developed. From the R600 intake to the intercooler, oil management, and downpipe, everything is perfectly matched.
PRECISION-ENGINEERED FOR PERFECT PERFORMANCE.
Our OEM+ Stage 3 turbo reuses the stock IHI turbocharger housing as a base, with extensively upgraded and redesigned high-flow internals.
Each turbo is built in the UK, balanced, inspected, and tested beyond its maximum operating speed on a vane-flow test rig.
Race-grade 360° thrust bearing packs plus increased shaft diameter.
New, complete CNC-machined turbine/compressor billet wheel.
High-flow turbine wheel cut for increased flow capacity.
All internal flow patterns within the housing have been ported and smoothed to accommodate increased airflow.
STAGE 3 TURBO PERFORMANCE
Let’s be honest, no one chooses a Stage 3 upgrade for any other reason than performance.
Instant, supercar-like power is why we do it! But the RacingLine Performance OEM+ Stage 3 kit gives you so much more in terms of drivability, easy installation, and reliability.
Our Stage 3 power and drivability are exceptional. While power easily exceeded 500 hp in our dynamic testing, we’ve calibrated this complete package with our OEM+ Performance software to deliver a slightly lower output—a confident, repeatable 480 hp.
This means true supercar levels of performance. In 4Motion cars equipped with a DSG transmission, expect to clock 0-60 (100 km/h) in around 3 seconds, with the potential for quarter-mile times in the low 11s/high 10s.
